Services
Personal Care
Here at Eridge House, we take pride in delivering care that is tailored to you. Your personal needs and preferences are important to us, and we recognise that no two people are the same! We celebrate your individualities and work with you to ensure these are reflected in your plan of care. Our experienced and dedicated staff often go above and beyond to make sure each resident feels comfortable, happy, and safe – which is how we believe it should be!
Our team is here for you and your loved ones and are always happy to help. Whether you need minimal assistance with day-to-day living, or require regular support with washing, dressing, mobility and/or medication management, our team is always on hand to assist you and offer guidance and support whenever required. Your key worker will largely take on this role, and we have found that our residents have benefited immensely from having a named carer who is overall in charge of their care, as this provides continuity, a friendly face and someone you and your family can build a rapport with.
Activities
Eridge House has a very homely and vibrant atmosphere which is clearly shown through our staff and residents alike. It’s easy to make new friends and enjoy the social company of others in our spacious and bright communal areas. Our team arranges numerous different activities and carefully creates monthly planners with our residents to match individual interests and abilities. She works with you to ensure that the activities provided are ones you will enjoy and find most beneficial to your social, physical, and emotional needs. Requests and suggestions are very much welcomed! Some examples of regular activities that take place include:
- Physical motivation classes
- Quizzes, bingo, and reminiscence sessions
- Arts and crafts and ‘making and baking’
- ‘Try it’ sessions – choose items of food and drink from all around the world to sample and score your favourites!
- Music for health and sing-a-long afternoons
- ‘Pamper sessions’, manicures and more
- Pet therapy, visits from our furry friends

All our activities are resident led and are arranged based on feedback and suggestions, tailor made to suit everyone’s preferences and interests. Services provided in the home include hairdressers and chiropodists. Religious services are also carried out in the home for those wishing to attend. You are also very much encouraged to maintain links with the outside community, for example, attending church, day centres and personal hobbies.
